Education Students Gain Much Needed Experience
A recent CBC news article, found here, found that 36% of principals feel that new Calgary teachers are unprepared when they hit the classroom.
One way that teachers can prepare themselves with student interactions as well as familiarize themselves with the Alberta curriculum is to tutor before they graduate from a Bachelor of Education or Master's of Education program at University of Calgary. Often, clients that are searching for tutors are not searching for teachers with 30 years of experience, but new teachers and student teachers.
TutorTag provides a convenient platform for University of Calgary students pursuing education to gain much needed teaching experience before hitting the classroom. Our platform is based on strong founding principles and fairness when it comes to tutors. Tutors can earn between $20 and $150 per hour for their services and the tutor chooses their own pricing.
We are currently accepting University of Calgary and Mount Royal University Education program applicants. Any potential tutors should visit our application page to apply.
