New TutorTag Platform Announcement

We would like to announce our new tutoring platform for Calgary and Edmonton. We are excited about this new opportunity for our tutors and clients. Tutoring can be a difficult task to manage. Our goal is to connect qualified tutors with clients seeking tutoring and minimize the behind the scenes realities of tutoring (scheduling, billing, communicating et cetera).

The first major change is the scheduling system. All tutoring sessions can be booked through our platform. This is the most important part of the tutor-client relationship. Our system does not allow for missed sessions or miscommunication with sessions. Tutors and clients are sent reminders and are able to view the sessions through our proprietary backend portal.

Next is the billing. For tutors, collecting payments can be a headache. We collect all payments from the clients and deliver them to our tutors. We have all the details covered so that all the tutor has to focus on is the actual tutoring lesson.

The tutors commissions are high. Most tutoring companies will only pay the tutor between 40% and 60% of what they actually charge. Our tutors set their own prices and we start our tutors at 70% commission and increase this based on the number of hours they tutor for us. Our tutors are happy and as a result our clients are happy.
