Factor it by breaking it into two:

y3(2y+1) -5(2y+1)

Since they both have the same 2y+1, you can do the subtraction:

(y3-5)(2y+1)

Factor it by breaking it into two:

(2y4+y3) - (10y-5)

Take out common factors from each pair of brackets:

y3(2y+1) -5(2y+1)

Since they both have the same 2y+1, you can do the subtraction:

(y3-5)(2y+1)
