B-cells trap and collect viruses in your body by first connecting directly to the antigens on the surface of one viral invader. After it does this, it divides several times to create copies of b-cells that can either go off and connect to other invaders, or turn into a cell that produces lots of antibodies, which also trap and clump viruses.
