Describe how the graph sketch on the previous page would be different if 

i. s=3

y=(x-2)(x-s), s=-4

  =x2 +2x -8

(i) y=(x-2)(x-s), s=3

  =x2 -5x +6

(ii) y=(x-2)(x-s), s=0

     x2 -2x 

From the three graphs, we can see that there is a point that satisfied these quadratic expressions and that is point(2,0). Even though each expression has two solutions, one of the solution to each of them is Point(2,0), ie  x=2 and y=0.
