Steps to Problem Solving in Mathematics
Completing problem solving questions in Mathematics can be tricky and frustrating. With these steps, students are able to break down the problem and come to a quicker solution. Step one, is to understand what the problem is asking. In other words, read and think about the question. Step two, highlight the key numbers in the quesion and make a plan. In other words, choose the operation and create a plan on solving it. Step three, solve the problem. Step four, check over your work and make sure it makes sense. Step five, explain your work.
