Technique in Memorizing
Biology is a handful if memorizing is not really your forte. Also, a lot of terms in Biology are sometimes derived from Latin. One of the techniques I used when I was in school, that I impart to my students, is using key actions or words that are very similiar to each other.
For example the different lobes of the cerebral cortex
Occipital - Optics (both letter Os)
Temporal - temporal part of the brain is close the ears, Auditoru
Parietal - scratch that part of your head, Tactile
Frontal - smack your forehead when you finally remember something, Cognitive
Students tend to remember this more than just reading. If it's simpler, it's better.
